Fluorsid has developed an integrated management system which includes Quality, Environmental and Safety procedures, in order to pursue the Company's commitments and enhance its long term sustainability.
The environmental management system, ISO 14001:2004 certified, ensures continuous process improvement focusing on: reducing emissions, optimising the raw materials and utilities consumption and recycling of waste waters via Fluorsid’s patented filtration system. All by-products coming from the main production lines are converted into and sold as raw materials for the building and cement industries.
The quality management system, ISO 9001:2008 certified, ensures a consistent quality of the products and services to the customers, by the strict application of its process and quality control procedures. The process plant control is carried out through a distributed control system and the chemical laboratory is equipped with the most modern analytical instrumentation.
The safety management system complies with BS OHSAS (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) 18001:2007. Fluorsid’s staff is continuously trained, as well as committed to ensuring safety in the workplace, protecting human health and reducing operational risks.
